Apple has kicked off its big iPhone event with software and video of sex at grand centralservices, but the first hardware device to hit the stage is the new, 10.2-inch iPad.
Besides being significantly larger than before (its predecessor had a 9.7-inch screen), the 7th generation entry-level iPad comes with Apple's A10 Fusion chip, and brings support for Apple Pencil for the first time.
It also has a smart connector, meaning you can connect it to Apple's Smart Keyboard (both the Pencil and the Keyboard are purchased separately, for $99 and $159, respectively).
