After three years of waiting, the Sony WH-1000XM6 headphones have finally arrived — and they are expensive. They're great headphones, but at $449.99, we expected some bigger upgrades. They're not that much better than the previous generation, the WH-1000XM5s. Better yet, the XM5s were a pretty minor upgrade from the XM4s. If you're looking to save some money on high-end headphones, the Sony WH-1000XM4 noise-cancelling headphones are still a solid purchase in 2025 — especially when they're on sale.
