Tentpole shows based on Warner Bros. IP like The Penguin and Dune: Prophecy are slated for later 2024 release dates. New original shows and miniseries like The Regime(starring Kate Winslet), Park Chan-wook's The Sympathizer, and superhero spoof The Franchise are also on the docket.

Bloys revealed that other popular HBO series like The Last of Usand The White Lotusare eyeing releases in 2025. The Westeros-set A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight, based on Martin's Tales of Dunk and Egg,is tentatively set to begin production in spring of 2024. The same goes for The Last of Us Season 2, although the start of production depends on whether the striking Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA) reaches a fair deal with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP).
