The state-owned manufacturer also denied rumors that a deputy general manager blasted Huawei for a lack of coordination before quitting his job recently, which comes after reports saying multiple customers were frustrated over unexplained and months-long delivery delays of the S7 electric sedan. The two companies on Jan. 11 announced compensation for those who had experienced delivery delays of more than six weeks for the car, launched in late November and featuring Huawei’s in-car software with a starting price of RMB 258,000 ($35,381).
