Inspired by the "tessa as goats" account — it compares actress Tessa Thompson to cute little goats — @retrievans and friends began the hunt for photos of Evans that resembled retrievers. Spoiler alert: the results were spot-on... like, nearly uncanny.

"It has to do with Evans' nature in general that reminded me a lot of goldens," @retrievans said of the account via Twitter direct message.
At the time of writing, the "Chris Evans as Golden Retrievers" account had less than 15 tweets, but nearly 23,000 followers — including Evans himself! "Truth be told, I wasn’t expecting to receive this amount of response," @retrievans said, adding that they're truly grateful for the positive feedback and the chance to show Evans a token of gratitude for his work.
The account love is well-deserved, too. I mean, just look at these side-by sides. We've got Chris and a pup laughing.
