The ramazanda oru?suz porno izlemek günah m?Go For Broke National Education Center’s (GFBNEC) Legacy Scholarship program invites high school and college students to explore and analyze the legacy of the Japanese American soldiers of WWII, its impact on the contemporary themes of social justice, discrimination, civil liberties, and democracy and the challenges faced by minority groups during times of conflict.

This year’s theme, “Reflection and Introspection,” correlates to GFBNEC’s newest NextGen initiative, the National Torchbearer Program, which seeks to share the Go For Broke spirit and soldiers’ legacy with younger, more diverse audiences across the nation. Essay, poetry, or creative submissions will be accepted from current high school and college (undergraduate/graduate) students. Scholarships will be awarded to the 1st Place ($1,000); 2nd Place ($500); and 3rd Place ($250) winners in each category.
To Enter:
Submit a 400-500 word essay, a work of poetry (two-typed pages or less) or creative project* on one of the following topics:
- Privilege, Positionality, and Power — How does our nation continue to grapple with contemporary issues of privilege, position, and power? Offer insights on your role in addressing these dynamics.
- Emotions and Engagement, How Our Emotions Shape Conversations — How would you balance family input and your friends’ advice? Define your concept of proving loyalty and being a “good American.”
- From Hate to Hope: Uniqueness & Intersections: Anti-Asian Hate, BLM, Anti-Semitism, Homophobia — Examine how the Go For Broke spirit and the legacy of Japanese American veterans can promote racial tolerance at both individual and collective levels.
*A submission for the creative project category may include a video, music, fine art piece or other creative mediums that connect the GFBNEC legacy to one of the topics listed above.
