Announced at CES 2024, LG Signature OLED T, the company's new OLED TV set, is almost completely transparent. And it's not just a prototype; according to The Verge, it's very close to a final product that customers will be able to buy sometime in 2024.

You will have to start taking care about what's behind your TV, though. Credit: LG Besides looking very cool when in transparent mode, this TV offers certain advantages that regular TVs don't. For example, it can very seamlessly blend into your decor and almost become a living sculpture that's interesting to look at even when you're not actively watching content. The TV also comes with a bunch of software widgets that are optimized for the transparent display.

We do suspect that this TV will probably find a home in museums and entry halls of fancy office buildings. After all, it doesn't even have LG's Micro Lens Array (MLA) tech that improves brightness and is present on LG's G series OLED TVs. There's no word on price, though LG definitely plans to launch the Signature OLED T sometime this year.
