Augusto Pinochet (famed Chilean actor Jaime Vadell) is a 250-year-old vampire who lives in a crumbling mansion with his equally spoilt and corrupt family. He can't shake his lasting — and earned — reputation as a thief in life, so he decides to die. For good. But while he puts his affairs in order, a young French accountant (Paula Luchsinger) will offer up some truths about his life as a General.
Written by Larraín and Guillermo Calderón as inspired by Chilean history, El Condesees Pinochet as symbol of a fascism, a dictator greedily furthering his privileged immortality by feeding on others for sustenance.
