If you sign up now, you can lock in three months of the streaming service for just $3 a month, compared to the usual $10. Netflix will officially be axing their cheapest ad-free subscription plan (aka their most affordable plan) in the U.K. and Canada starting in the second quarter of this year. For now, there are no details on if or when this will affect U.S. users, but don't be surprised if the plan is phased out everywhere.

So how do you get around what is essentially a price raise? Go for the deals. Though Netflix's are rare, if you're a Verizon customer, you're in luck. Through Verizon's +play streaming portal, when you buy one valid seasonal or annual subscription, you get Netflix Premium for a year for free. That's a year of Netflix's highest plan, which usually clocks in at $22.99 per month. You can also bundle Netflix Premium and Starz for $25.99 per month, saving you $6.99 per month (or $83.88 annually).
