As if already realizing how condescending he had come off, Trump then added that he "would love to meet with the Congressional Black Caucus."

Ryan has already been in the news recently after she ended up in a confrontation with Trump communications official Omarosa Manigault. Ryan claimed that Manigault physically intimidated her and verbally berated her, which Manigault denied and attempted to prove with a recording of part of their interaction.
Following the exchange with Trump on Friday, Ryan handled the situation with class, pointing out that setting up meetings is not her job but also expressing gratitude that Trump responded.

Despite Trump's claims he had called a number of times to set up a meeting with the Congressional Black Caucus, the organization said on Twitter that he had actually not replied to its letter.
