When blessed with a new Kendrick Lamar album,??? ?? ?? there's really only one course of action -- head over to Reddit and immerse yourself in fan theories stitched together from the Bible and the Matrixuniverse.

According to some sleuths, Lamar will be dropping a follow up to Damn.called Nationon Sunday before we've even had a chance to catch our breath. Get it? Damnation.

Damn. was released on Good Friday, leading some to think that a second chapter on Easter Sunday makes perfect sense given the religious imagery in the "Humble" video and the album's thematic focus on damnation and salvation.

A lot of the speculation seems to becoming from the following lyrics from "The Heart Part 4," the single Lamar released just before "Humble" that isn't on Damn.

"I said it's like that, dropped one classic, came right back' / 'Nother classic, right back / My next album, the whole industry on a ice pack"

Then, the verse continues, "With TOC, you see the flames/In my E-Y-E's."

What does TOC mean, then? Well, there are theories. "The other chronic" has been suggested, as well as "the other color."

Album 2 could be styled "N.ation" with a red N. blue "ation", letting the N. overlap in a way. We all know kdot has a career-long theme of red & blue that goes deeper than aesthetics. So IMO it's kind of eyebrow raising there's no blue here to compliment all the red.Not to mention there's also a lot of allusions to duality in the track list alone...Pride/Humble, Lust/Love, Fear/God. Pride and lust being 2 of the 7 deadly sins.What I'm getting at is if duality is a theme, a second album would make sense to compliment this. And if he's going for a religious theme of damnation, the second disc could have tracks named after the other 5 deadly sins. After the meticulous thematic construction of GKMC, even more so on TPAB, would it really be that much of a stretch?

Red and blue could stand for a lot of things -- Bloods (the first track on the album is "called BLOOD.") and Crips, the American flag, or the blue and red pills from The Matrix. Sounwave, a producer who worked on the album, delivered a cryptic tweet featuring Morpheus and today's date.
