The cinematics that Blizzard creates for its games are well-renowned for their quality, so the idea of the company expanding some of its IP into television doesn't seem very far off.

While details are pretty sparse on these series, the information van Dyk shared about the Diabloseries seem pretty concrete, given the fact that they already know what style of animation the show will use and which streaming service it will be available on. It sounds pretty similar to the Castlevaniaseries on Netflix, which bears has a comparable gothic aesthetic.

Blizzard has previously announced that its working on multiple unannounced Diabloprojects, and this TV series could easily be one of them.

When asked to confirm or comment on the news, a Blizzard spokesperson said, "We have nothing to announce at this time."
