In conjunction with the exhibition “Perseverance: Japanese Tattoo Tradition in a Modern World,??? ?? ??” the Japanese American National Museum will present a talk by photographer/designer Kip Fulbeck, curator and artist Takahiro Kitamura, and contributing artists Chaz Bojórquez, Chris “Horishiki” Brand, and Brian Kaneko on Saturday, Aug. 23, at 2 p.m.
They will take questions from the audience about the exhibition, their practices, and the thriving legacy of Japanese-style tattooing.
